V*ENNA PERFORMING AT GREENBELT 2001
We had another very busy day this week. V*Enna performed twice at
this years edition of the Greenbelt 2001 Festival in Cheltenham, UK.
V*Enna performed on Main Stage as well as in one of the side venues.
This was a very special moment as this was the last show for our British
dancers who are moving on to their own projects.
SOUL SURVIVOR 2001
Another first for V*Enna was to take part of this years Soul Survivor
Conference held at Shepton Mallet in Somerset. V*Enna performed three
times, once at the band stand and had guest appearances at Dreggs and
also at the "Pulse" venue hosted by "the TRIBE".
We had the chance to hang out with our great friends from "Riverdeep"
as they opened the band stand performance.
V*ENNA DEBUTS AT FLEVO TOTAAL 2001
This weekend V*Enna will take part in Flevo Totaal for the first time
in the Dutch town of Flevo. This is one of the major European festivals
and this will be the first time for V*Enna at this event. However, this
is not the first time V*Enna is in Holland, we performed here seven
times earlier this year in May, (see our archive section). Sharnessa
and Lucy had a great time catching up with loads of friends at the festival,
to mention a few; Earthsuit, Luna Halo and ShineMK.
MIRACLE VALLEY NEXT
V*Enna had a great time performing at the 2001 Northern Light conference
in Thirsk, W Yorkshire. Located in the Miracle Valley, V*Enna took part
in the evening programme at this years conference. We has a smashing

catching up with friends and family.
IOWA - HERE WE COME!
After a huge response in February with Phil Joel during the "Strangely
Normal" tour, V*Enna has been asked to come back, this time together
with LaRue, some great friends of ours. Please make sure to catch us
at Des Moines Christian School at 7:30pm!!!
The festival season is here! After having performed at Atlanta Fest
last month, V*Enna has taken part in two more festivals, Lifest2001
and SonShine2001. V*Enna played at main stage at Lifest in Oshkosh,
WI and after a late night and a long drive, played at SonShine the next
day. Thank you all who came out to see us and to meet us at the festivals
this year! You ROCK!!!
6/30/01 - V*ENNA ENDS CANADIAN TOUR
V*Enna finished of their Canadian part of the 2001 Summer tour in Fredricton, NB yesterday. During the last week, V*Enna has covered about 1900 miles, performed in four cities in two provinces, done three in-stores and been interviewed by four radiostations as well as finding some time to perform on "Breakfast Television" in Halifax, NS. Although very tired, the girls had a great time and managed to catch up a lot of Canadian fans. A big THANK YOU!!!! to all of you who came out to see us at the shows and at the in-stores!!!!

6/26/01 - V*ENNA LIVE ON BREAKFAST TELEVISION
During the recent tour in Canada, V*Enna had the opportunity to perform three songs on the mainstream TV breakfast show "Breakfast Television" that covers most of the Maritimes in Eastern Canada. They performed the recent hit singles "Where I Wanna Be" and "Do You Wanna Know" as well as the new song "Best Friends". The girls were also interviewed during the program which was recorded in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This was the second opportunity for V*Enna to be part of mainstream TV in Canada this year. [V*Enna was interviewed on Much Music earlier in February]
6/21/01 - V*ENNA ON TRINITY BROADCASTING NETWORK
During a day off in Nashville, Sharnessa and Lucy was interviewed by Dino and Cheryl from the Trinitry Broadcasting Network show Dino. The girls recorded two programs, performing three of their songs from their current album. The programs will be aired later in the summer. The Dino show airs at 8pm CET, on Mondays.
6/18/01 - V*ENNA KICK OFF BRIO/BREAKAWAY MISSIONS TRIP
Lucy and Sharnessa started off their US/Canadian Summer Tour in Miami, FL by performing for the Focus on the Family's magazines Brio and Breakaway's annual missions trip. This years trip is going to Venezuela. The girls had a blast performing infront of the youth and had an extended questions and answer time with the missions team. Also, whilse being in Miami, the girls did an interview and photo shoot with Brio for a coming issue.
